Auckland Held To Draw
(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. The King Country Rugby team put On its best performance for many years when it drew, 12-12, with Auckland, at Te Kuiti yesterday. Each side scored in the same way—a try, a dropped goal and two penalties. The scorers were: Auckland try, M. J. Dick: dropped goal, M. Herewini; penalty goals, R. D. Laurie (2). King Country try, P. Strange; dropped goal, A. Kiely; penalty goals, M. Rush (2).
All Black Trial (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The All Black trlalists will be announced by the three selectors (Messrs I. M. H. Vodanovlch, V. L. George and P. T. Walsh) today.
