SCOTTISH CHARM WHANGAREI PICK

“The Press’* Special Service AUCKLAND.

The up-and-coming Taranaki three*year-old filly, Scottish Charm, will have a big following in the Whangarei Pace, the first leg of the T.A.B. concession double on the opening day of the Northland Trotting Club’s meeting at Whangarei tomorrow.

Her success at Alexandra Park on Anzac Day was the third in her last four starts, and she looks well above average. She has the added advantage of haying drawn No. 1 on the limit.

The race has drawn a good field, and there is bound to be solid support for several others. Dayanna, Charlie Chan, Lucky Tom, and Johnny Cruise have splendid recent form to their credit, and Aruma and Vindicator will be well backed.

Dancing Bingen is fancied for the second leg, the Hokianga Handicap.
