VIETNAM CONFLICT

No Night Attacks

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SAIGON, April 30.

Fighting was reported today from two widely-separ-ated parts of South Vietnam, but for the first time since February 23, when the Communists* spring offensive began, neither the United States nor the South Vietnamese headquarters reported any significant overnight attacks by rockets or mortars. In Saigon, however, a terrorist bomb hurled from a motor-cycle shook the. city area at dawn. One policeman was wounded slightly, some windows were broken, and a wrought-iron door of the old French-built town hall was twisted by the blast. Police say one or two terrorists involved have been arrested.
