Competition In Design A design competition for secondary school pupils with prizes amounting to $3OO is! being held by the Canterbury ! Building Centre. It is open: to all secondary school pupils in Canterbury. Boys must design the floor plan for a three-bedroom family home and judging will , be graded according to forms, j Fifth and sixth formers are jin class one, and third and! ! fourth formers in class two. Girls can either design a floor plan for a three-bed-
room family home or provide a kitchen design and layout.! Entries must be at’ the, Building Centre by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28. Representatives of the Can-' terbury branch of the New! Zealand Institute of Archi-i tects will be judges. Prize' winning entries will be on I: display at the Building 1 Centre. A number of building and ! decorating firms will give the I prizes.
