SEISMIC SURVEY
The 231-ton seismic survey vessel Bayou Chico, which, has just completed work off ; the Canterbury coast on behalf of BP Shell, Aquitaine. Todd Oil Services, Ltd, called 'at Lyttelton on Monday. A spokesman for the Bayou j Chico's operators, the Westjern Geophysical Corporation, said the corporation was satisfied with the survey. He gave no details. The survey was carried out between Akaroa and Oamaru. After refuelling, the Bayou Chico sailed for Brisbane for further orders. She is expected to resume a survey, with Darwin as a base, and may work in the vicinity of the West Irian coast. j
