(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 29. Japanese workmen building the New Zealand pavilion at Expo 70 In Osaka asked for extra helpings of New Zealand lamb when the Meat Board arranged a barbecue at the Expo restaurant this week. “This is a good omen for our restaurant at Expo." the chairman of the board's Expo committee (Mr N. B. Flppard) said later.

The Meat Board said in a statement today that Ito representatives in Japan for Expo discussions made a special trip to the Expo site to thank construction workers for keeping the job ahead of schedule. To mark the occasion Japanese girls served bar- | becued lamb cooked on the site by Japanese chefs. They | were helped by girls em- ” ployed by the board for supermarket and department store lamb demonstrations.
