DRIVER KILLED
A man was killed when his car ran off the Lewis Pass; Road, near the Montrose, station, about eight miles! north-west of Culverden. yes-1 terday morning. He was Martin Blas Lorite-Sanchez, aged 38. of 4 Clifton Bay Road. Sumner. Mr Lorite-Sanchez was travelling to the West Coast, when his car crashed through a wire fence, rolled over several times and came to rest on its wheels about 240 ft, from the fence. His body! was found in a paddock about; 20ft from the car. Mr Lorite-Sanchez was! South-East Asian marketing! manager for Toro Inter-! national, a New Zealand, manufacturer of toys and | mathematics visual aids. Born in Granada. Spain.! he spoke seven languages and had travelled in Mediterranean and South-East Asian n n seHin? trip* for his firm He was to go to! Central and South America . soon
