$2000 Theft
Thieves who broke into the Spreydon-Hoon Hay Working Men's Club in Tankerville Road on Sunday night stole $2OOO from a safe after using an acetylene-gas torch to cut it open. A flat in Durham Street was burgled on Monday and a transistor radio worth $7O was stolen.
