Impey To Lift Bowron Bid
Phillipps and Impey, Ltd, will make an amended offer for the share capital of Guthrie Bowron and Company, Ltd. the directors advised yesterday.
This offer will he considerably more than the offer of 1.C.1. (N.Z.), Ltd. they say. and further details will be advised by Friday.
1.C.1. (N’.Z.) last Saturday announced an offer for Guthrie, Bowron. which valued the shares about 321 c, against Phillipps and Impey’s original offer of about 295 c.
Before the first hid Guthrie, Bowron ordinary shares sold at 150 c.
