Young Gisborne Golf Rep.
(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE. An 18-year-old golfer who left school only last year will make his debut in Freyberg Rose Bowl golf as a member of the Gisborne district team this year. He is Ross Bignell, a former Gisborne Park Golf Club champion who was named in the Gisborne team by the selector (Mr R. T. Field) yesterday.
The team, not necessarily in playing order, is:—E. J. Gordon. P. D. Rouse. W. L. Hill, M. J. Fisher, R. Bignell. Nontravelling reserve: W, A. Neill.
