THREE HURT ON ROADS
Peter Chapman, aged 18, of Tuckers Road, was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital with moderately serious head injuries when his cycle and a car collided on the Blenheim Road overhead bridge at 12.10 p.m. Mr D. A. Gray, of 40 Draper Street, Linwood, was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital with shock and abrasions when his motorcycle and a car collided at the intersection of Barbadoes Street and Coventry Street at 9.8 p.m. When a cycle and a car were involved in a collision at the intersection of Greers Road and Grahams Road, at 5.14 p.m., John Cooper Matthews, a clerk, of 26 Banbury Street, suffered head and leg injuries. He was admitted to Christchurch Hospital.
