FOREST SERVICE TENDERS FOR ROAD GRAVELLING KAKAHU FOREST Written tenders close at noon on Monday, March 3, 1969, with the Conservator of Forests, P.O. Box 513, Christchurch, for the supply and spreading of screened gravel on Forest Roads at Kakahu Forest. Approximately 1000 yards of gravel will be required in two lots. LOT ONE 700 yards approximately to be screened to a maximum of 2 inches and spread over 75 chains of new roads. LOT TWO 300 yards approximately to be screened to a maximum of inches and spread in maintenance of various existing roads. Operations to be carried out as directed and in the sequence required by the Officer in Charge, Kakahu Forest. Work to commence within seven days of acceptance of tender and to be completed by March 31, 1969. Intending tenderers are requested to contact the Officer in Charge.
