Prince In A Rubbish Bin
(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) CAMBRIDGE, Feb. 25. Prince Charles, aged 18, sat in a rubbish bin last night and sang a song called “Let’s Get Drunk With Harry The Monk.” The Heir to the Throne was appearing on the stage in the dress rehearsal for a Cambridge University revue. In his second year as an undergraduate at Trinity College, the Prince is in the cast of 10. Reporters and photographers at the rehearsal saw i the prince clowning as a garbage collector and, later, in evening dress, conducting a non-existent orchestra. In another sketch, Prince Charles appears as a nine-i teenth century squire telling a pretty girl: “I must admit: I like giving myself airs.”
