A. Kandos Sees Improvement
(N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY, Feb. 24. Australian and Kandos Cement Holdings, Ltd, expects a higher profit 1968-69 in spite of lower sales and profit in the first half-year, the company reports. The directors have maintained the interim ordinary dividend at 5 per cent, which is consistent with the 10 per cent yearly rate paid for several years. Cement sales of the group were slightly lower in the half year to November than in the 1967 period, but sales in the latter months were higher, the directors said. The profit results followed the same pattern, With an improvement in the latter months.
