His only bogey of the round game on the 460 yd, par-four tenth hole when he missed a 4ft putt. M. Barber, who led after the first round, was second with a 10-under 278. B. Yancey was third with 279. The Phoenix Open winner, G. Littler, D. Bies and E. Updegraff came in at 280, but Updegraff was disqualified when he failed to sign his card.
