(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, February 24.
“Although New Zealand gained Its own international air carrier with the purchase of the Australian share of T.E.A.L., the astronomical price of replacement aircraft for the jumbo-jet and supersonic era suggests that closer collaboration between Qantas and Air New Zealand may be wise in the future,” said the Minister of Finance (Mr Muldoon) in Auckland tonight.
