VICE-REGAL Yesterday afternoon the Governor-General (Sir Arthur Porritt) and Lady Porritt flew to Auckland, where his Excellency in the evening opened the forty-second general scientific meeting of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Their Excellencies will return to Christchurch this afternoon.
