Charity Preview
The Plunket Society will benefit from a special charity preview performance of “The Pajama Game” to be put on by the Christchurch Operatic Society on February 26. The performance would be attended by the GovernorGeneral (Sir Arthur Porritt) and Lady Porritt and would be held at 8.35 p.m., the chairman of the Operatic Society (Mr C. Yeatman) and the president of the Plunket Society (Mrs N. M. Peryer) said in a joint statement yesterday. The performance will be directed by Mr Dobbs Franks and will be held at the Theatre Royal.
