Car Hits Train
(N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON N., Feb. 2. Two men were injured when a car struck a stationary good trains near Feilding early today. x The car crashed into the side of the train on a level crossing on Aorangi Road, about two miles from Feilding. They are Edward Reid, aged 27, of Ohakune, the driver, and Brian Marriott, of Ohakune. Both are in a satisfactory condition in Palmerston North Hospital. The accident happened while the Palmerston North-Taihape train was shunting waggons on to a siding about 1.8 a.m. The train was delayed about 70 minutes but was not damaged.
