N.Z. Croquet Officers
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Officers elected at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Croquet Council in Wellington yesterday were:— President, Mrs G. R. Peake (Dunedin); vice - presidents (North Island) Mesdames B. P. Aldridge, L. M. Hight and J. J. Smyth; (South Island), Mesdames A. Nottle, and. W. H. Kirk; New Zealand referee, Mrs J. Church: New Zealand handicapper, Mrs H, Purdy; publicity officer, Mrs R. Urquhart; Editor manager '‘Croquet Gazette,” Mr E. Hoare; honorary secretary-treasurer, Mrs H. C. Wills.
Mr h. C. Ford war appointed manager of the New Zealand team to visit Australia this month to take part in the MacRobertson Shield contest against Australia and England.
