N.Z. Man In German Boat

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. C. Bouzaid, skipper of the New Zealand One-Ton Cup challenger Rainbow 11, left by air for Sydney yesterday to join the crew of the German yacht Optimist in the Sydney to Hobart ocean race. He hopes to persuade Optimist’s owner, G. Koeler, to bring his boat to race in New Zealand waters after the Hobart event. Optimist was the yacht that beat Rainbow II into second place in the One-Ton Cup series in Heligoland last July.
