Busy Day For Driver
The Templeton trainer. J. A. Carmichael, will be able to drive in seven races at Rangiora Raceway on Saturday before leaving for Auckland, where he has been engaged to drive Beat Time and Uteena. Carmichael will return for the Ashburton meeting and then drive at the other two Auckland meetings. It is probable he will have Chequer Board in the Auckland Cup. He will drive Minipat on the last night and day of the Auckland meeting, A. K. Holmes being engaged to drive her again this week. He will also drive Uteena on the last day of the meeting. O. M. Quinlan will travel north to drive Uteena on the second night, and at the Cambridge meeting early in January< ■
