Southland F.M. Profit Jumps
The Southland Frozen Meat and Produce Export Company, Ltd, Invercargill, raised its profit from $237,551 last year to $832,237 in the year to October 1. This is an increase of $594,686, and it will cover the dividend, which remains steady at 8.33 per cent, 2.2 times, taking $374,985. The directors recommend a final dividend of 6.73 per cent on paid up capital, ex dividend February 7. The profit is after allowing $5670 less for depreciation at $638,137.
