Parliamentary Closing Date
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 17. This year’s Parliamentary session is expected to end by Thursday morning, the fifth latest sitting date in the history of the New Zealand Parliament. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) told the House of Representatives today he expected all legislation on the order paper—2o bills—would be completed by the House on Wednesday night. If any legiislation remained, Parliament would meet on Thursday morning to clear the order paper before the valedictories were given, he said.
