Soccer Match Called Off
(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter—copyright) GUATEMALA CITY (Guatemala). The return World Cup soccer match between Guatemala and Haiti, scheduled to be played yesterday, was called off when the Haitian team objected to the referee, Mr R. Marmol, of El Salvador. A near-capacity crowd of 20,000 was inside the stadium when the match was called off. Guatemala claimed victory, but the outcome of the match will be decided by a committee of the International Football Federation.
