ROBBERY CHARGE
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 16. Dan Hugh William Wickliffe, aged 20, a fisherman, of Mount Maunganui, was today remanded in custody by Mr D. I. N. McLean, S.M., until December 19 when he appeared in the Otahuhu Court. Wickliffe was charged that on December 12 at Auckland, being armed with an offensive weapon, a sawn-off shotgun, he robbed Bruce Graham Shephard of $3487.
