When th, Canterbury Gun Dog Club held It, last Held trials for the year at Uetifkarara most of the events were,for woman handlers. Results were:— Open Class (Aulsebrook Shield): T. Hartley Smith’s Labrador, Desdemona of Blakenham. 161 points, 1; Robin Gibb’s Labrador, Shadow of Red Valley, 158, 2; D. Roper's Labrador, Tina of Bed Valley, 157, 3. Storey Cup (women handlers): Mrs E. Brlden's Labrador, Irangapai Ulyals, 172 polnta, 1; Mrs G. Cox's Labrador, Oliver of Rimu Domain, 169, 2; Mrs J. Stanton’s Labrador, Clay of Willowlea, 168, 3. Limit (land): Mrs S. Glennie’s Labrador, Circe of Biakenham, and Mrs T. Hartley Smith's Desdemona of Biakenham. 92 points (equal), 1; Mrs G. Hood's Labrador, Golden Dancer, 83, 3: Miss Brlden’s Knokemo Betty, 81, 4. Puppy (land and water): Mrs G. Hood’s Golden Dancer, 32 pelnta and 77 points.
