The Czechoslovak Communist Party’s central committee is believed by observers in Prague to have dropped some of the more radical economic reforms which do not meet with Soviet approval. But there was little information about the two-day meeting of the party’s legislative body in Prague Castle on Thursday and Friday. A communique issued on Friday night gave little away about the economic measures agreed upon, and revealed none of the recommendations for top positions in the new Federal Government structure which Czechoslovakia will assume on January 1.
