Slight Firming Of Prices (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 13. Light pitchings of New Zealand lamb sold steadily at slightly firmer prices on Smithfield market this week, the Meat Board reports. The main grade of New Zealand lamb (prime 29/361b) was quoted at 31 d to 32d, the same as last week. A few new .seasons D’s cleared quickly at 33d to 34d per lb. Moderate pitchings of New Zealand mutton cleared slowly. The main grade of New Zealand hogget (49/561b) was quoted at 17d per lb and wethers at 14d per lb. Ewe mutton was quoted at 12d per lb.
