(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) DUESSELDORF. The Australian, R. A. Laver, has been unanimously ranked the best tennis player in the world by a poll of 17 sports writers from 15 countries. Laver was given 170 points, and was followed by A. R. Ashe (155), K. R. Rosewall (135), T. Okker (127), J. D. Newcombe (85), A. D. Roche (83), and C. Graebner (63).
