Reorganisation In N.Z.B.C.

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 13. The New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation, after consultation with management consultants, has reorganised its administrative structure. The chairman of the N.Z.8.C., Mr C. A. McFarlane, said today that increased emphasis had been placed on providing the maximum of scope for “vigorous local operations.” Three regional directors have been appointed to have responsibility for the operations of the corporation in the northern, central, and southern regions of the country. Below this level, there will be a rearrangement of the “functional sections” to provide strong backing for those working in the field. A new position of Deputy Director-General has been created as an interim measure. This position will be filled by Mr R. L. Sceats.

The three executive directors in head office will be Messrs M. A. Rickard, C. Marshall, and K. M. Hay.
