Russell Writes To Gomulka

The philosopher and peace campaigner Lord Bertrand' Russell, has written to the Polish Communist Party leader, Mr Wladislaw Gomulka. protesting against the recent treatment of Jews 'in Poland. The letter, made public today at a press conference by Dr S. J. Roth, director of the Institute of Jewish Affairs said: “Recent events in Poland do not permit the crime of silence.
