Misconception
Referring to shipments of clothing packed by a Timaru woman (Mrs M. Neville) and shipped to Fiji at the expense of the Timaru Lions Club, Sister Mary Charlene, who is in charge of the St Elizabeth Home, Korovou, Suva, said in a letter to the club that it was not surprising that some American ' members of the staff thought Timaru was the capital of New Zealand. She said that for several years the home had been receiving consignments of clothing for patients and their families. —(F.0.0.R.).
