Gardening On Television
The management committee of the Canterbury Horticultural Society is working with CHTV3 to continue the gardening sessions. The secretary (Mr J. C. Fraser) said yesterday that, starting about March next year, six programmes would be presented by members of the society who were specialists on various aspects of horticulture. Mr Fraser said that it was hoped later to have regular weekly programmes, starting in mid-winter. The photograph shows the new variety, Paint Brush.
