Fire Damages Rail-car
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 7. Half an unoccupied rail-car was gutted by fire early this afternoon. It was being serviced in the diesel rail-car shed on Aotea Quay when it caught fire.
Shed staff quickly had the fire under control and three engines from the Wellington Central Fire Station were on the scene within minutes. The cause of the fire is not known.
