$3m Lent To Hotels
(N.Z. Preee Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 6.
The Tourist Accommodation Development Scheme had approved advances of $3,093,100, the Minister of Tourism (Mr Thomson) said in Parliament today. Replying to Mr W. W. Freer (Lab., Mount Albert), the Minister said that, in addition, approved guarantees of second mortgage totalled $6,052,000 Asked if any of the loans had been repaid in full, Mr Thomson said one had been and this was in the Wellington area.
