£120,000 From Sale Of Tunes

LONDON, Nov. 6.
The two songwriting Beatles, John Lennon and Paul McCartney, have been told tnat they can expect to share about £120,000 from sales of their tunes last year The world copyright of their famous hits is owned by a private company, Northern Songs, in which each of them has a 15 per cent shareholding.
The company has announced profits after taxation of £535,061, £20,000 higher than last year, and has fixed its dividend at 80J per cent against 56 per cent last year.
