(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 6. The proceedings of Parliament were delayed briefly late tonight because of a lack of a quorum of member*. At 11.20 p.m„ while Mr V. F. Cracknell (Social Credit, Hobson), was speaking, during the Foreign Affairs debate, Mr M. Rata (Lab., Northern Maori), pointed out to the Speaker that only 17 members were in the Chamber, two of whom were from the Labour Party! The bells were rung and within a minute the three extra members required for a quorum had entered the Chamber and the debate continued.
