Senator Jack May Win Again
“The Press” Special Service WESTPORT. Senator Jack won so easily over a mile In the big race on Saturday that the extra two furlongs of the Wilkins and Davies Handicap, on the second day of the Westport Jockey Club's meeting today, should not unduly worry the Ikamatua-trained chestnut. The going, after heavy rain yesterday, will be very soft. Displease and Mister Bud look the best of the others in the main race. Nursie could make it a repeat double by winning the Stuart Hack Handicap. She easily won the second leg on Saturday, the Colvin Handicap, and could do so again even with a further two furlongs to cover, and a rise in the weights. Jes Tar and Dr Snoddy look the best of the others. Selections:— 12.5 p.m.—Turon Stakes: Kriste, Joyallce, Martha Bell. 12.45 p.m.—Purdon Trot: Grainger, Guy Hanover, Kelly. 1.25 p.m.—J. J.
