EXPORT YEAR
“Success Is Assured” (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 11. Exports in the first eight months of this year were worth $53.4m, compared with $47.4m in the whole of 1967, the president of the New Zealand Manufacturers' Federation (Dr H. C. Holland) said today. “National Export Year in 1968, which was declared when the Government decided to retain the export incentives after devaluation toward the end of last year, is now assured of resounding success,” he said.
“The export break-through continues, with the highest expectations for many product groups being greatly exceeded.”
