NEW LIGHTS WORK WELL
The new traffic lights at the intersection of Bealey and Fitzgerald Avenues had worked very well on their first day of operation yesterday, said the Christchurch City Council traffic superintendent (Mr J. F. Thomas). Even at peak traffic times they had worked well. Only minor adjustments to some time phases were expected to be made, Mr Thomas said.
