The Sub-Dean will be responsible (through the Assistant Dean) to the Dean of the Faculty of Arts. He will receive assistance from a full-time Tutor to Arts students. This is a full-time administrative appointment but the SubDean may engage, as a normal part of his activities, in a limited amount of teaching or other academic work.
