JEWELLERY STOLEN
(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, Sept. 15. Rings and jewellery worth more than $2OOO were stolen in a smash and grab raid on a Wanganui jeweller's shop on Friday night Several display cards full of rings were taken from shelves after a front window was broken at the premises of T. Armitage, manufacturing jeweller. Several more rings were found yesterday morning lying where they fell among broken glass on the pavement and others were on the street near the store.
