O'Neill. 17-8, in the final. tn winning the title for tha first time. Williamson beat J. Woods (St Martins), 8-5; D B Cook (A.N.Z Bank), 9-3: K. C White (Waterside), 15-2: W. T Brown (Somerfield), 175; w O'Brien (South Brighton). 15-1: L. Beswick (Gadsens), 14-5; and O'Neill. The holder. R. Speer (Fernleaf). waa eliminated in the first round by R. Lange (Railway,). Eighty club, entered the tournament. Results;— Quarter-flnala. Williamson (Pioneer) 15. O’Brien 1; T. Berry (Sydenham) 9, E. Crozier (MAlrehau P.T.A.) 3; O'Neill (Barrington) 9, N.
