Radio Broadcasts Of Olympic Games
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. A comprehensive coverage of the Mexico City Olympic Games on radio and television has been planned for New Zealand next month. The national programme and all commercial programmes will broadcast regular daily reports from October 13-28. Times for television coverage have not yet been finally decided, but it is envisaged that a half-hour programme will be televised daily, starting approximately on October 18.
Times for radio broadcasts (New Zealand time) are:— Sunday, October 13: national programme, 10.08 a.m. and 12.40 p.m.; commercial programmes, 12. C. p.m. and 11.02 p.m. (repeat). October 14-18 and 21-25: national programme, 7.35 a.m., 8.35 a.m., 12.40 p.m., 6.30 p.m. and midnight; commercial programmes, 7.15 a.m., 8.15 a.m., 12.15 p.m., 1.15 p.m., 6.15 p.m. and 11.15 p.m.
October 19 and 26: national and commercial programmes, 7.15 a.m., 9.45 a.m., 12.15 p.m., 6.15 p.m., 11.15 p.m. October 20 and 27: national
programme, 7.35 a.m., 8.35 a.m., 12.40 p.m., 6.20 p.m. and 11.20 p.m.; commercial programmes, 7.15 a.m., 9.45 a.m.. 12.15 p.m., 6.15 p.m. and 11.15 p.m.
October 28: national programme, 12.40 p.m. and 9.10 p.m. (repeat); commercial programmes, 12.15 p.m. and 7.02 p.m.
