Moderator’s Visit
The Moderator of the Presbyterian Chureh of New Zealand (the Rt. Rev. E. G. Jansen) and Mrs Jansen arrived in Christchurch yesterday for a two-week visit to parishes within the Christchurch Presbytery. A presbytery reception will be given for the Moderator at “Heatherlea,” Deans Avenue, on September 24. As well as visiting parishes, Mr Jansen will speak at schools, and will also visit institutions run by the Presbyterian Social Service Association.
