Temuka National Dancing

Judith Burrows (Christchurch) won the South Canterbury under 18 sword dance championship at the Tetnuka national dancing competitions at Tetnuka.

An Ashburton dancer, Glenda Hampton, was the most successful competitor, winning the cup for most points in the under 14 class and the trophy for most points over-all.

The judge, Mrs B. Morgah, of Christchurch, commented on the high standard achieved by entrants.
