Candidate For Mayoralty
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 11. The nomination of Mr D. M. Robinson, Mayor of Auckland from 1959 to 1965, for the city Mayoralty was received yesterday by the city returning officer. He will stand as an independent. The sitting Mayor, Dr R. G. McElroy, has been announced as the Citizens and Ratepayers’ candidate.
