N.A.F. Earnings At Peak
In spite of a difficult trading year, the North Auckland Farmers’ Co-operative, Ltd, Whangarei, increased its profit by $12,169 or 10.3 per cent to $129,845 in the year to June 30. The dividend, raised from 8 to 8} per cent, takes $3985 more at $51,585 and is covered 2.5 times by profit. The chairman (Mr G. H. Masfen) says he believes the company is capable of achieving sufficient economies in production, processing, and transport to make present market prices fairly realistic.
