OVERSEAS TRADING
SYDNEY The B.H.P. shares jumped 90c to close at 2120 c yesterday. Mining shares, particularly nickels, continued to ease. Acme, Great Boulder. Norsman and Ravensthorpe all lost ground. Western Mining sold unchanged at 1210 c. Oil shares were well traded. Oil Search eased back 12c to 70c.
Kolotex continued to gain ground with the shares recording a 50c rise to 500 c. The company has announced a 64 per cent increase in net profit. They also stated plans for a one-for-six bonus issue.

MELBOURNE Minings were easier. Most nickels, however, closed above their day’s lows. New B.H. lost 80c at 1720 c.
In oils. Oil Search dropped 12c at 72c.
Industrials were generally steady with small movement. B.H.P. rallied in later dealing to close 70c higher at 2120 c after a low of 2030 c.
